Epishine manufactures low-power printed solar cells for sensors, electronic price tags, locks and other electronics. These solar cells require no sunlight to operate, meaning they can be used with standard room lighting, such as ambient and artificial light from lamps and other sources. Depending on ambient conditions they generate approximately 22 μW/cm² at 500 lux. They are flexible and can withstand up to 1 million bends without degradation, and are available in variety of sizes suitable for variety of applications. Key advantage is that they are composed entirely of organic materials and that os why - fully recyclable and certified to RoHS (no exceptions) and REACH. The company uses roll-to-roll printing technology for production.
